Autograph App Builder

Welcome to Autograph

Learn how Autograph App Builder turns a product idea into a working application.

Autograph App Builder helps you turn a product idea into a working application without starting from a blank repository. Describe the outcome you want, review the proposed experience, and refine it in conversation before you choose where to build it.

What you can do

  • Start with a plain-language product brief.
  • Explore a reviewable prototype before committing to implementation details.
  • Connect a GitHub repository only when you are ready to use one.
  • Keep shaping the app until the workflow feels right.

Your first app

  1. Install Autograph in Codex.
  2. Open a fresh task and describe the app you want to create.
  3. Review the prototype and ask for changes in everyday language.
  4. When you are happy with the direction, choose where the finished app should live.

Autograph will explain the product decisions it makes along the way. You stay in control of repository access and any change that affects a connected service.

Where to go next

If Autograph is not installed yet, begin with Install Autograph. If it is already available in Codex, continue with Create an app.
